Games Patrons

The Government of Canada is proud to support the 2010 Arctic Winter Games.  The values that we learn from sport-teamwork, discipline and confidence-are important values that are on display in communities across this country and across the North.  The Government of Canada has committed up to $400,000 to help offset the cost of the Games.  The Games provide a unique opportunity for athletes not only to compete, but to interact with one another and foster cultural exchange.
