Basketball

This sport has come a long way from shooting a ball into a peach basket at McGill University in the late 19^th century, and has now become an exciting part of the Arctic Winter Games. Each team will have five players on the court to try and score more baskets than their opponent. The young athletes involved with the Arctic Winter Games will be showing everyone their skills of dribbling, shooting and passing of the basketball.

Classes Competing in Basketball during 2010 Arctic Winter Games include:

Junior Male (91 or Later; 19 or younger)

Junior Female (91 or Later; 19 or younger)
