Freestyle Skiing is a new addition to the Arctic Winter Games and it is all about reaching Big Air, attempting new moves and striving towards new heights. Medals are awarded to those who best demonstrate acrobatic movements in the air as well as being able to handle themselves on Moguls, through Slopestyle and on the Half-Pipe. This sport takes dedication and precision in order to ski with the elite.
Classes Competing in Freestyle Skiing during 2010 Arctic Winter Games include:
Junior Male (93, 94, 95 or 96; 14 - 17 yrs old)
Junior Female (93, 94, 95 or 96; 14 - 17 yrs old)
