The Arctic Winter Games International Committee provides leadership through the development of policy and supervision of the overall development and implementation of the games. The International Committee enters into formal agreements with host communities and oversees the preparation of a local ‘Host Society’ in each community, helping to build effective partnerships to address the needs of host communities, participants, and Games sponsors.
The Grande Prairie 2010 Arctic Winter Games Host Society is a non-profit organization formed by the City of Grande Prairie. This group of committed volunteers have donated their time and talent to organize a truly memorable Games experience in Grande Prairie.
