Even Dinosaurs Need to Know How to Safely Cross the Street
Grande Prairie – AMA School Safety patrollers will be teaching a young Pachyrinosaurus how to join their ranks. The patrollers will be using the Point, Pause and Proceed method to help students, and their honorary patroller, cross the street from school safely.
What: A photo opportunity with the AMA School Safety patrollers and Aluk, the official mascot of the 2010 Arctic Winter Games.
When: Tuesday, January 12
3:10 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The Arctic Winter Games is an international sport and cultural event that provides Northern youth with an opportunity to participate in a variety of sports and showcase their talents. The 2010 Games will be held in Grande Prairie from March 6-13.
